Bob Everest
Pastor Bob Everest grew up as a pastor’s kid and began taking his faith in Jesus seriously at a young age. At church camp one year he made a commitment to follow God wherever and however He would lead. Bob’s ministry began after college when he worked with youth in residential and camp settings. The challenges of working with youth led him to pursue a graduate degree at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia. After graduating, Bob spent several years as a chaplain in a hospital and hospice setting. In his late 30’s, Bob realized that these experiences were used by God to call and prepare him for pastoral ministry in local church settings. Bob has been an ordained Teaching Elder in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church since 2003. Bob was the pastor of a small church in Western Kansas before coming to CPC in West Yellowstone in August of 2013.
Pastor Bob is married to Angie Everest. They have a busy life keeping up with 3 kids in college and a recent college graduate. Emily, Rebekah, Julia and Joshua all make their parents proud. Bob and Angie enjoy the outdoor wonders of the Yellowstone region—biking, hiking and touring in YNP and surrounding areas. Bob enjoys backpacking, hiking, fishing and golfing. He also insists that reading is “doing something”.
